Kirin

Kirin Lawson is so excited to be teaching Music Together again in the Twin Cities! Before teaching music, Kirin was an actor traveling across the US performing and teaching workshops for schools. She graduated with her BFA in Theatre Performance in 2016, and has been staying involved any way she can! She's worked as an actor, a stage manager, a youth advocate, a director, and most proudly, as a teacher. She has worked at the historic State Theatre of Georgia (the Springer Opera House) and taught in their summer theatre program, the Springer Theatre Academy. In between tours and shows, Kirin was living in NYC and working as a nanny. She loved her kids there and took them to Music Together classes (the Banjo Collection became her favorite). When covid hit in 2020, Kirin moved back to Columbus, Georgia (her hometown), and knew that the town needed a Music Together class, so she started a small center. She had a small class that grew up together from babies to toddlers, and she is proud to say it is still going strong (with another wonderful teacher and director). Kirin moved to Saint Paul with her fiancee and dog in 2024, and is excited to teach and see all of the art that the twin cities have to offer!
